Board Members

Behind the scenes of the Louisiana Pecan Festival, it is the board of directors that do most of the grunt work to create this amazing event year after year. The team of around 15 people are responsible for every detail in planning and executing all of the festival's events, parades, and musical acts. This takes a great deal of time, but their commitment to quality has been rewarded by the growth and popularity of the festival. In contrast to many other regional festivals of a similar nature, the board of directors for the Louisiana Pecan Festival do all of their work without pay and are not involved because of financial motivation. The board is made up from local volunteers that have a genuine passion to make the festival memorable for every visitor. Their dedication is seen in the smiling face of every festival goer that says they will come again next year.
